Nowadays, people don’t have the time nor space to make their own broth anymore. As chefs, we think this is a big shame. Bone broth is essential in every kitchen, a nutritious and flavourful foundation for sauces, stews and basting recipes. This is where we come in.

We are Paul and Isaac, two high-school friends and chefs working in Amsterdam. We’ve worked together in several kitchens, where we learned a lot about organic food and fresh ingredients. We started the Bouillon Bar by looking from a zero-waste perspective. Why throw something away if you can still use it?
We developed a creative and sustainable way of cooking. A style that we use when we make our bone broth - always on the hunt for new flavours and combinations. Making bone broth is the oldest and most widely taught tradition in cooking, so we honour and embody this tradition in everything that we do, taking absolutely zero shortcuts.
